Concepts of Visual Style: Fall 2020- Umbra

Here are the components for a class I took in the fall of 2020. In Concepts of Visual Style, we were tasked with designing a character, and creating a world or story around them; we were encouraged, yet not required, to develop from the idea of the "proteus", or a persona of some kind based on the self. Inspired by my love of the "magical girl" anime subgenre and my general love of space-related aesthetics, I created "Umbra", a space themed magical girl tasked with defending her city from an alien invasion.
